I Might Make An Anti-Spam Plugin

I just saw a post over at The Blog Herald about CAPTCHAs becoming worthless. It got me thinking about comment spam.

Without divulging too much information - I think I may have a small theory on how to fight spam bots. It mostly has to do with their behavior. If my theory is correct you can expect a new anti-spam plugin very soon. I’ll be doing some tweaks on Nusuni Dot Com to help me gather some data so I can do proper research - so if the blog goes down here and there it probably means I screwed something up. Just figured I’d warn you ahead of time.

Update: Based on some quick results of the spam submitted here over the past hour or so - it looks like my theory is almost dead. However, there is one interesting little thing I’ve noticed and will be keeping an eye on over the next few days.
