Technorati - The Official Blogosphere Porn Search Engine?!?

I just visited Technorati like I do every night, and wow. This picture says 1,000 words:

Technorati Porn

And they are top searches. That means a lot of people are searching for that crap.

Is Technorati now the official blogosphere porn search engine?

It’s no secret that they are slowly but surely becoming less important… could the invasion of porn be the straw that breaks the camel’s back? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the issue.

Oh well, I suppose Technorati needs all the business they can get.. whether it is Brittany Spears fans or people looking for “adult entertainment”.

Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?

In case you don’t know what “gambar mayat nurin jazlin jazimin” (#2) refers to, please allow me to explain. FYI, the phrase is literally translated into “pictures of nurin jazlin jazimin’s corpse”.

Nurin was an 8-year-old girl who was kidnapped, and whose body was later found stuffed in a sports bag outside an office (in Malaysia). The post-mortem revealed that a cucumber and an eggplant was stuffed up her private parts.

Apparently, the (Malaysian) police have released enhanced CCTV footage of a man carrying a Diadora bag and leaving it at the spot where Nurin’s body was found stuffed in a bag, hence the number of people who searched for them. And the last I read, Nurin’s father will take legal action against those responsible for leaking his daughter’s post-mortem photographs.

For more information on Nurin’s case, you may go to The Star Online (a Malaysian English daily) and search for “Nurin Jazlin Jazimin”.

Also, Nurin’s uncle had also started a blog in her memory — http://nurinjazlin.blogspot.com/

I was a bit curious about that… had no clue it was about that.

That is just disturbing on so many levels, did they catch the sickos who killed her?
