Boy, it’s been a long morning. Long story short I released that technorati plugin earlier, then realized something with it wasn’t working correctly. I suspected it was with code that accessed the Technorati API, so I scrapped that and instead had the plugin read in a feed for the “blog reactions” page (the *bad* way of doing things). Then just now I figured out what was wrong with my API code (inserted a random character by mistake), so I just reuploaded the plugin with the correct code. Meanwhile people were downloading the plugin, so heh… whoops.
It works perfectly fine now though. For now on I’m doing twice as much beta testing.
I think this is a pretty good sign I’m beginning to stretch myself a little to thin, I’m making a lot of dumb mistakes I never used to.
Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?

Hi Jeremy,
Yeah we all need to take time out, that’s the main focus over on my blog at the moment. Too much time focusing on the one thing, and not focusing on yourself for any period of time is a very quick way to drain the batteries down to empty.

Heh, I’ve been running on full blast for about 3 months. Sad thing is I’ll probably only take a couple days off after the current blog series is over (if I take any off), I’m becoming quite a workaholic.
Biggest thing is I’ve just been programming a lot lately, I’m working on a CMS for a little project I got going, and another PHP script is due to be released soon. Hopefully in a week or so everything will tone down and I can start relaxing again.
Thanks for your thoughts, Steve.
