The 6 year anniversary already… wow. I cannot believe it has been that long. Scary thing is I can still remember exactly where I was when the terrorist attacks occurred.
The school year was just starting up, and I was in science class. The Principal went on the loudspeaker and told everyone what happened, and for the rest of the day pretty much every classroom had the TVs turned on to CNN. At the time I was a bit too young to fully comprehend the attacks, but those attacks were the reason I started studying the laws, politics, and such.
We have yet to experience another such attack here in the U.S., and that is due to the hard work of those who work for the local, state, and federal governments, and every single man and woman who is overseas fighting (the same men and women that groups like MoveOn like to bash).
Obviously the President is doing something right. If he wasn’t not only would our troops be getting killed, but tens (maybe hundreds) of thousands of citizens back home would be murdered as well. That’s also not counting what the terrorists would do in Europe.
