Quick Social Media Tip: Look At The Date Before You Submit It

The other day a story popped up on Digg about Google releasing a Linux OS. I thought it looked familiar, and today I realized my suspicions were correct. Someone posted on Digg about how the article is from a while back - January of 2006 to be exact. Needless to say I’d imagine that is a bit embarrassing for the submitter of the article.

I think the only time you can really get away with submitting year old content is if it is for historical reasons or if it is timeless.
