Nusuni.com has been down for the past hour or so due to a hard drive failure on its server.
My host removed the drive, ran fsck (which is why it took so long to come back up), and now it is working. It also appears as though they might be syncing the data over to a new server, so the site might be down again sometime later (hopefully not, but prepare for it anyway).
If you’ve sent an e-mail during 11:00 am to 1:00 pm US eastern time, just send it again and I’ll get back to you later.
Oh, and my server is finally off of the evil yahoo blacklist, so I can finally e-mail yahoo users again. I think my bitching e-mail to the abuse@yahoo addy helped ![]()
Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?

Glad that you got things fixed so quickly! Could you ask your host to take over mine?

lol.
That’s what I love about HostGator, really really quick support.
The sad thing is my last host would have let the server go until it caught on fire and blew up the data center - they didn’t give a hoot about keeping their customers happy.

That’s my host’s attitude. The server went haywire last Friday and I was told today that they need another 2 days. I can’t even use their backups that I’ve downloaded because they won’t unpack (the archivers won’t recognize it). I parked the domain at a reliable free host for the moment. When the account is up, I’ll download the home directory uncompressed and the database. Perhaps I won’t go back. They were quite cheap, though.

[…] If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you probably know I’m a bit of a HostGator (aff) whore. I love them. Nearly every time I’ve had a problem it has been taken care of really quickly. […]
