Why Entertainment Is The Perfect Blog Niche

Let’s get this out of the way now - I hate entertainment blogs, but I at least admit they are in the perfect niche.

Many people around the world are absolutely obsessed with Hollywood. The number of people following the latest trends in Hollywood via blogs is always increasing, so it would be incredibly hard for the market to become saturated.

What are the big feeds that every geek is subscribed to? Engadget/Gizmodo and Digg of course. If you’re not subscribed to them then your not a true geek.

What are the big entertainments feeds that people are subscribed to? I’d have to say PerezHilton is the main leader, but even that is an iffy thing to say.

So, a lot of people like Entertainment blogs, the number of people subscribing to them continues to increase rapidly, and there is no “main” entertainment blog.

Can you think of any other big market that is like that?

Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?

The question with entertainment blogs is revenue though. I’m sure the big ones rake it in by the truckloads - but how about the medium-sized ones? I’m guess that Adsense and Kontera probably don’t do the trick in that niche. Direct advertising would be a better choice… but that is cumbersome and more difficult to obtain.

text link sales, and direct sales. Plus you can also do affiliate sales for clothing shops, victorias secret, etc.

Can you suggest how I can generate revenue from my blog?
