Well, Daily Blog Tips just finished up their “three” group writing project. The goal was to write a post that had to do with the number three. My post was 3 Huge SEO Mistakes I Have Made.
All in all it has been pretty rewarding for the short time I spent on the post, and I would highly recommend doing their next GWP. I rated these based on the level of creativity involved, was it an average “built traffic, do this and do that” post or did it compare blogging to something you wouldn’t expect?
L’Amour De Blog: 3 reasons why blogging is like being in love
This was probably the most creative post out of them all. A nice comparison that most people wouldn’t think about, and the good use of photos doesn’t hurt either.
Top 3 tips to pick up girls/boys using blogs
Not sure how well these would work, but like the one above it is something I definitely wouldn’t think about. I like the t-shirt bit, I’ve been thinking about creating myself a nusuni.com t-shirt to help advertise it a bit. Heck, already get a lot of people asking about my Think Geek shirt, can’t imagine how many people would ask about a nusuni.com shirt
Only thing you might wanna be careful with is blogging about a girl… make sure you don’t sound like a stalker!
3+1 Things Blogger’s Should Never Ever Do.
Number 1 and 4 are especially true, never ever steal content and do your friggin research please! I hate reading blogs that claim the sky gets dark at night because of something George Bush did.
3 Sure Fire Way to Advertise Your Blog on a Shoe String
Great tips, I’ll definitely be using some of them. As I have been saying a lot lately, blog promotion and link building definitely are not my strong points. I couldn’t get Iran to buy some $1 uranium let alone get unknown people to visit my blog from anywhere other than forums, search engines, and friendly blogs.
Getting better at it though.
By the way Feds, in case you are reading this, I haven’t sold any uranium to Iran nor have I attempted to, but that guy over there-> did!
3 Reasons Why Daily Blog Tips Sucks
Humor always works!
It was tough and there are a lot of good posts, but those were my favorites. What were yours and why did you pick them?
Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?

Well they sure call attention but always work depending on your social skills.
But the T-Shirt is kind of a status thing. It works really well.

What should the t-shirt say…hmm..
“Visit nusuni.com now or I shall eat your soul”
No too dark..
“I’ll pay you -$20 to visit nusuni.com!”
Hehe, there we go

How about using blogs NOT to pick up? A mate recently met a girl claiming to be single but discovered her blog… which revealed she was NOT single at all! Needless to say a little fur flew after that discovery!
