Stupid Content Thieves

There, just caught another content stealer. This time he was even stealing my bandwidth, but I left him a nice notice thanks to htaccess: :)

Bandwidth Stealer

It was a lot meaner, but someone convinced me to make it a bit “friendlier”. Still gets my point across, and I already sent in DMCA notices.

Friggin assholes.

This does raise an interesting question, is there ANY way I can disable access for users from Thailand or China? So far every thief I’ve caught is from those two countries.

In case you’re wondering, the htaccess I used is this:

RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} ^http(s)?://(www\.)?nikond1004.info/ [NC]
RewriteRule \.(jpg|jpeg|png|gif)$ http://www.nusuni.com/pics/bandwidth_stealer.gif [NC,R,L]

It checks to see if the URL is the splog, and then redirects all images appropriately. Pretty nifty, huh?

Update: Their host just informed me his account was disabled :) Hooray!

Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?
