Well, Microsoft has finally done it. They announced a multitouch tabletop screen that is set to hit the market really soon. Sadly they are targeting business customers right now, but everyone feels that this technology will make it down into the home in just a couple years.
Even if you hate Microsoft, you have to admit this technology is pretty cool. Here is a video of it in action (video found via John Chow’s blog):

Simply amazing stuff. It feels like the 90s again, doesn’t it?
So, are multitouch WYSIWYG development platforms on the horizon? I sure hope so!

Unnngh! I can feel the back pain already from leaning over that thing all day.
10K is a bit pricey, especially when I can even see the top of my coffee table with all the clutter on it. LOL :p
