Wow, just wow. I was looking at my SEO information and realized it said I have a Dmoz entry, and I only submitted the site a few months back. I am surprised for two reasons, 1) It was actually listed (they are pretty picky), and 2) It got listed in less than a year.
To be honest this is the first site I have ever got listed in there (which is why I’ve tried to avoid talking about Dmoz specifically), so I have no clue how this will affect my rankings (if at all). Supposedly Dmoz is one of the few directories that helps a great deal according to some people, but others feel it is a waste of time. Personally I think it will help a bit, but it isn’t enough to make a huge difference.
If any of you out there are in Dmoz, did it make a big difference or not?
Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?

Maybe you could tell us if your rankings changed since you’re listed there.
In my experience DMOZ listing is very helpful. One site which I am promoting went through huge update when Google found it listed in DMOZ.

From what I can tell, DMOZ didn’t make a huge difference. A slight difference maybe, but not a big boost.
