There, I finally got around to finishing up the tweaked layout and uploading it. I got rid of the gray background around the main content area and made it black, and I moved the header text to the center. The header graphics were also changed. The layout is also much more compatible between the various OSes, although it still has some issues with certain Linux distros.
The main content looks exactly the same.
Old:

New:

If you were wondering why I did this, I did it for two reasons:
#1, the gray background looks horrible on my 20″ screen at 1680*1050, since it is a fixed width layout the gray took up a huge area. Black looks much better, and it makes the content stand out more.
And #2, Header took quite a bit of bandwidth up and it looked icky with different color settings, the new one is patterned so it uses much less bandwidth.
I will be releasing the WordPress theme soon and posting it somewhere on here and maybe on some theme sites, just for the heck of it.
By the way, I may remove the MyBlogLog widget as it has been loading slow…as…hell lately.
So, what do you think?
Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?

I’m a sucker for rounded corners, so I’d say I’m more a fan of the old design.

Yeah, I miss the round corners as well. I might be adding them back on later tonight.
Thanks for your thoughts

There, I just quickly Photoshopped (oh crap yeah… Adobe doesn’t want people saying that anymore…) some corners up (at least for the top). I also made the diagonal lines much more transparent.
