Leroy Brown of Green Llama just shot me… err tagged me. So now I have to participate in a little link-bait type of post that is going around. I have to share 5 obsessions I have, and then tag 5 other bloggers to do the same. So, here I go:
Stat Checking
I think every blogger checks their stats way too much… I tend to check the traffic stats more than anything else, as I only monetize a few blogs so I am not too worried about tracking that right now… This more has to do with the fact I have bad short term memory rather than an actual obsession…
Telling People How To Do Their Job
This is one obsession that not many people would admit. At times I can be a bit bossy, telling people how to do their job and such. Don’t know why, but if there is a better way to do something I just can’t hold it in and I have to tell them about it. Funny thing is most of the time they will tell me that my idea worked well.
Information Gathering And Sharing
I am obsessed with info. I don’t care what it is: physics, theories, or anything else, I just love to know about it. A lot of people find it annoying because sometimes during an Instant Messenger chat I will randomly say “did you know about…?”
News
I am also absolutely addicted to the news, everything except entertainment crap that is. I could care less about Hollywood. I am really into foreign politics and stuff and I try to read the same story at about 10 different news sites to get the most accurate picture possible.
Ellipsis
I use ellipsis way too much, these are where you substitute a word for dots, like “…”. I don’t use them that much on here, but during instant messenger sessions I use them all the friggin time… Oh crap, see!
