Another Reason To Allow Comments

One thing that many bloggers leave out in the “should I enable comments” equation is SEO. Comments create more content, which will generally use similar keywords to what you are using and you don’t have to work for it. That results in more traffic, doesn’t it?

Think about it for a second… You write a post about making a custom CMS and someone in a comment says “What a bunch of great CMS programming tips” If someone were to search for “great CMS programming tips” in Google your blog could very well come up.

And lets not forget that a controversial comment could get you an extra link from a forum or a social networking site.

SEO is another reason why you should allow comments on your blog.

    You just gave me an idea to put the AdSense target tag around the comment tag in Wordpress.
