No matter how hard you try, someone out there will steal your articles. There is simply no way to avoid it. So, why not use it to your advantage to get some free search engine juice?
As I have said many times, most content thieves use auto-blog software that basically rips your posts directly from your RSS feed. Most of the time they will not even look at your post, so you could put whatever you want on there. Even links.
So, why not throw at least one link in your article that links back to one of your posts? Heck, why not toss a few into the mixture?
Although content theft can damage your SE rankings (at least for that post), if a highly ranked and highly trusted site rips you off why not let them get away with it? After all, every little bit of search engine juice is good.
Please note: this post is about getting search engine juice from another blog if they copy it, whether or not you know it. I in no way support copyright infringement.
Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?
