Top 10 Best Web Development And Online Marketing Sites On The Planet

This is just a simple list of a bunch of cool sites and blogs that cover web development, blogging, SEM, SEO, etc.

Webmaster Radio

Webmaster Radio probably one of my favorite things on the ‘net. It is an Internet talk radio station that covers everything Internet. SEO, domaining, SEM, blogging, law, etc. You name it, chances are they cover it.

A lot of big-name people have shows on there, like Jeremy Schoemaker and Danny Sullivan. If you pop on the live chat during a live broadcast they might even mention you.

WebProNews

WebProNews covers a whole bunch of stuff, but I like them because they have short daily news videos. It is also really nice checking in with them during search engine conferences, since they often do interviews with Google people.

ProBlogger

ProBlogger covers everything blogging. I don’t know how he does it, but Darren Rowse seems to never run out of ideas. ProBlogger is a great place to get started on your journey to that professional blogging career you’ve always dreamed of.

SEOmoz

SEOMoz is run by a few SEO experts, the most widely known of whom is probably Rand Fishkin. If something big is happening in the SEO industry, they are on top of it right away. They also cover some stuff on blogging.

ShoeMoney

ShoeMoney is a blog run by Jeremy Schoemaker that talks about affiliate marketing, SEM, etc. He is the also one of the lucky ones who gets Adsense checks worth more than most people make in a year. The proof is in the picture.

Search Engine Watch

For all those tasty search engine tips and news items. This is also a great site to visit during conferences and expos.

W3Schools

The best resource for everything web design. By the time you leave this site you will be speaking HTML and driving while writing an AJAX script.

Pronet Advertising

Want to know how to get started in online marketing? This blog is perfect for you. It isn’t uncommon to see their posts appear on the front page of Digg - they are just that good.

Copyblogger

It might be kind of weird seeing Copyblogger on this list, but I do think it is an excellent resource. I have been reading it a lot lately, which is the main reason why my writing skills have been (slowly) improving.

Google

Of course Google had to be on this list, right? I mean, its Google! You can find anything you want with a few keystrokes.

Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?

    Hey Jeremy -
Stumbled upon this post while reading through SEO articles on technorati today and thought you might be interested in a free advertising service that I offer to bloggers called http://adgridwork.com. The site is completely free and only requires that you add a small javascript widget to your page in order to automate the link exchange, but we have about 200 sites now that are focusing on both Marketing and SEO. Anyways, figured you might be interested and if so please check us out. Keep up the good content :)
