Leave WP-Cache Enabled All The Time

For some reason a lot of bloggers tend to disable the WP-Cache plugin during low-traffic times. That is a huge mistake, and here’s why.

Generally when a blog gets posted on a high traffic social networking or bookmarking site like Digg or Reddit it surprises the blogger. By the time they find out what is going on, it may be too late to take preventative action.

If you disable your WP-Cache plug-in you could very well be screwing yourself. The plug-in prevents WordPress from overtaking your server by caching your pages. It is a preventative measure, and it should be used as such.

A lot of bloggers tend to enable it only when traffic spikes occur. But here is my question, if you go to enable it during the traffic spike and you can’t get in, what do you do? You can’t do anything, so you will be screwed.

I just don’t get it, are people afraid of WP-Cache or something? There is absolutely no reason to ever disable it.

Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?
