Is it worth paying someone a bunch of money to do SEO techniques on your website?
Absolutely not. Most SEO services do basic white hat SEO techniques that you can do yourself in a few quick minutes. And let’s not forget many of these services promise “number one rankings for any keyword” which is impossible, even the world’s best search engine optimization experts can’t do that.
Many of them are scams, and even Google says to do some research into any SEO services before you hire them.
If you do decide to hire a search engine optimizer, you should check up with them and ask for a clear explanation about everything they do. In addition, make sure your contact has a clause that will weigh in your favor if the expert gets your site banned from a search engine.
