Apparently someone has been searching for a lot of “Adult Entertainment” (trying to keep it family friendly here, you know?). According to WebProNews, 6.9 billion searches were made by Americans in January, up 26% year over year. Google’s share is still a whopping 47.5%, much higher than Yahoo’s 28.1% market share and MSN’s pitiful 10%.
So 6.9 billion searches, and I’ll bet 3 billion of them were for Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney Spears.
Please subscribe, or else I will cry. Do you really want to make a programmer cry?
