Quick Tip: XFN - What Is It And How Do I Use It?

XFN, or the XHTML Friends Network, is a way of showing human relationships using hyperlinks. It is especially helpful for blogrolls, where you can specify whether the person is a friend, family, etc.

An example of an XFN enabled link is the following:

<a href="http://little-brother.example.com/" rel="sibling">My Brother's Blog</a>

Some software packages support the tracking of XFN, so you can know how other people feel about you.
