One problem that has faced every blogger is deciding on what to write about. The easiest way to counter this problem is to make up a list of topics that interest you.
It really is as simple as that, just write down what you are passionate about. You could even write down some extra attributes for your blog as well. If you like helping people then write it down! And I truly mean write it down. Don’t type it, write it.
You remember paper right?
You should now have a good-sized list of some topics for your blog and possibly some extra notes. Now you need to pick a good topic, this will become your blog’s niche. The easiest way to go about choosing one is to pick the topic that interests you the most. And if it comes to it, do “eeny meeny miny moe”.
Whatever you do, do not pick a certain topic just because someone told you do to it. Only pick areas that you are passionate about and that you have some knowledge about.
When a reader can tell you enjoy writing they will enjoy reading your blog much more. As an avid blog reader I can tell you that I absolutely hate visiting a blog that is written by someone out to make a quick buck. Do not become one of those people.
