About Jeremy

Hi, my name is Jeremy Steele. I’ve been programming computers since I was 9 years old, back on a good ol’ Apple Performa 550 with System 7.5.5. By the time I was 12 I released my first application, IPer, which gained quite a bit of popularity. Not bad considering it was just a simple IP tracking application.

In the following years I delved into the world of operating system development and I wrote a small OS. It included a basic X86 kernel with preemptive multitasking and a no-frills floppy and cd driver. It had a command line shell with commands to view the filesystem and running processes. Below is an early build of the system:

When I was 17 learned PHP and decided to start a small freelancing business, which I’ve continued to run for over 4 years.
