Quick Tip: iOS WiFi Syncing And Windows Not Working? Try This!

January 5th, 2012

I finally got around to enabling WiFi syncing on my ipad only to find that Windows, by default, doesn’t play nice with it. Neither the computer or the iPad wouldn’t find each other. Not a problem – just tweak the firewall. First go into your Windows Firewall settings.

Then click on “Allow a program or feature through Windows firewall”

Then under the “Home/Work” column (for the Internet connection) click the box next to both Bonjour services. Also make sure iTunes is check too.

And that’s it!
